Problems with ex presidents cabinet appointees?

I am wondering if anyone can recall former presidents who have had as many problems with their cabinet appointees as Bush W (Chavez w/ illegal immigrant maid, Ashcroft w/ civil rights violations) and Obama (Daschle w/ taxes, Richardson w/ improper business dealings). If so, does anyone have any links?
